5 Ways to Honor Juneteenth

Texas was the last state of the Confederacy in which enslaved Black people officially gained their freedom. June 19th, 1865 is that historic day.

Black folks in Kentucky and Delaware were not declared free until December of 1865… months after what we know as Juneteenth.

Are we still free today? What can freedom look like for future generations?
