  • Summary

  • Robert Deitch is one of those rare talented Songwriters, who happens to have a “holds-his-own-with-the-best-of-them” singing voice. His music has been described as “vivid storytelling” delivered in a “powerful blend of country, soul and blues”. Currently a staff songwriter with Dan Hodges Music Publishing in Nashville, Deitch has earned the praise of some of Country Music Industry Elites. Hall of Fame Singer/Artist, Bobby Bare, proclaims Deitch as “one hell of a songwriter and singer." Robert has also received praise from the likes of Hall of Fame Songwriters Hugh Prestwood (“A Song Remembers When”) and Roger Murrah (“Don’t Rock The Jukebox”). Prestwood describes Deitch as “a gifted songwriter who mixes compelling storytelling with a powerful, soulful delivery,” while Murrah proclaimed Deitch to be “one of Nashville ’s best kept secrets…but not for long….”

Robert grew up in a Three Church, Two Tavern town in southeastern Iowa, and now splits his time between Nashville, Tennessee and his home state.
