My new favorite autobiography

If you like his stand up comedy, you'll love the book! It's a great book about Matt growing up and becoming the famous guy he is now, with happy and sad moments that he shares. Makes me love Matt Rife even more!

Authenticity

Okay, so I got this book because I was seeking and expecting more of the hilarious Matt Rife and his transparent, intelligent wit. This book is not funny (unless you are one of the 5 people who haven’t heard the few jokes he retells). Unexpectedly, this autobiographical narrative shares the same origin as his humor. It’s raw and genuine, tender and unassuming, and leaves you rooting for his future and proud of his tenacity and determination. He deserves every bit of the success I hope he’s enjoying. It’s a book I would encourage my kids to listen to when they’re a little older and life isn’t unfolding in the way they hoped or expected. If you’ve ever wondered why and how he can get away with his fair but irreverent commentary on life, this book will clear that up. Go Matt

Best Book Ever

If you love Matt Rife you’re going to love this book.
He writes about his life to stardom all the way from the beginning since he was young. His writing is so genuine and he definitely adds some of his humor that we all love. I don’t read much but I sure do love this book! 10/10 would read again!

Funny human being

Good story telling. Glad he let us in to get to know him even if we don't "know" him. I had only seen 1 of his specials before listening but will be looking them all up now. Keep up the great work Matt and hold on to those future dreams. You & Grandpa Steve got this.

Loved It

Matt Rife is the comedian our world needs right now. He’s reopening the door for people to see that it’s ok to laugh. It’s ok to not take yourself too seriously. His crowd work, like his book, shows that he is able to find light in any dark area.

Your openness and honesty

I don’t normally read memoirs or autobiographies but this was absolutely amazing! I listened to the whole thing in one day! Your story is emotional and inspiring! Just amazing! I cried and laughed and even a couple times I was in suspense! I definitely recommend everyone who is a fan or even just someone coming up from next to nothing..it says don’t ever give up on your dreams because you never know when they may come true! Thank you so much for sharing your story and journey!

Funny & Uplifting!

Love this so much! Most loved that it was read by Matt so you get his comedic attitude & gestures the entire way through. Hearing his journey was inspiring, I found myself wanting to go back and finish the story every time I needed to pause. He’s down to earth and genuine. Most loved his explanation and apology to the TikTok drama. So many are now wussy’s and tiptoe around, worried about whose toes they’ll step on.. RL life isn’t always that way. Just be a decent freaking human being. Treat others how’d you want to be treated and have a damn LAUGH! Well Done Matt, Well Done!
