It was so hard just to sit through a date with him. But the longer he remained on the show, the more I started to see him. Once I stopped playing the game, and allowed things to happen the way they were meant to...I realized there was a lot more to Monte Claire than I had given him credit for. And everything that he was, was exactly what I needed.

Actually, I had book one sitting in my wishlist when I became aware of this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it, very entertaining. The only complaint that I might have is since it was it from the viewpoint of the male MC, it may have been better to have a male narrator. However, Ms. Hayden did a excellent job.

Great Story and Natural Narration
Story draws you in right away and the narration is spot-on. The characters are well written and read without pretense. An enjoyable read!
