Worth the credit!

This was a good one. There were parts that were a bit of a stretch to believe, but I don’t mind that so much in an interesting story. I’d eagerly read more if more books were to come after.

Definitely a TWISTER

Just when I had though I had it figured out, it had me turning my finger at someone else! Ending has left me hanging, so if there is another part to this I would love to read it.

Best book I’ve read in 2023

Simply amazing. The twist, the characters and plot. I will read all three books in the series!

I didn’t enjoy this

This book just wasn’t believable. Actions taken by the characters seemed questionable. Little things like the meaning of unsub being not known by a roomful of cops tended to throw me out of the story

Exciting, twisting

And awesome! The story was excellent, well thought out and riveting! Going to get the next book and immediately!

Hooked from the start!

The ending was one I never saw coming! Great listen !! So entertaining will be following the series

All over the map

This book has some really good moments of suspense but then something ridiculous happens and it is absolutely absurdly unbelievable. I liked the main character for the most part—she isn’t chasing fame or having issues with her appearance always. The author doesn’t describe women as sums of their body parts which is a relief. The plot doesn’t just twist —it’s more like a hurricane that shakes everything up into ever more outrageous plot lines. It did entertain me and as almost always a female cop nearly instantaneously finds her soulmate at work. So enjoy it for what it is.

Until the end

I was mostly enjoying this book until the end. It kept me interested. Several twists that were good until the end. I won’t spoil it but, what? This twist left so many unanswered ends. Why ruin a decent book?!!
I didn’t particularly like the characters but that may be because I really hated the narration. Most of the men sounded like they were 80 and out of breath, the women sounded sedated or insane….

All that twists and plots

I loved the psychological thriller and turns and twists but after so many the story became too far fetch and too many twists in my view.

Could’ve been better

Some of the characters, including the protagonist, made some boneheaded moves and there was too much “telling” and not showing. And the ending…no one saw that coming. Why? Because there was nothing in the story that would have led there.

I won’t be reading the next two, Read it if you like. You may enjoy it; after all, I did—but just a little.
