The book was a lot of fun, especially for those of us who grew up experiencing Al Michaels broadcasting so many events, whether it be Monday Night Football or the most memorable U.S. Olympic hockey game ever. It would be nearly impossible for me to read this first-person autobiography and NOT imagine the words in Al Michaels' voice, therefore my one disappointment was when I realized that the entire audiobook wasn't narrated by the author himself; it was a letdown. The portions he does read stand out from the others, with all due respect to Ray Porter. Prepare to be thrown a bit by this. Otherwise, the content was interesting, especially when it enlightened me about the behind-the-scenes aspects of events I remembered.

If you thought you knew everything about sports, Al's book is the perfect way to get behind the scenes information on all of your favorite sports moments and then some. What a career, what a life, what a gentleman

Totally Fun!

This book was a breathe of fresh air for me. I needed something light and this totally worked. As a lifelong sports fan, listening to the experiences of Al Michaels was super fun. He is a well-spoken and articulate story teller too and there are lots of fun stories to listen to here.

Awesome Book

Loved this book, it was very entertaining, had lots of good laughs, and several sad moments. Really loved hearing about your story, the climb to the top, and you are amazing broadcaster.

Must read for sports fans

the playoffs without Al Michaels voice this year was very sad. this book is a wonderful way to relive all the years he gave us!
