wasn't totally sold on the direction of the book, but it's the same solid quality as previously so nothing to complain about there

Audio wise, Andrews butchers the word Mob and it's used A LOT in this book...
but this is my main complaint about the Audio in this book...
had the word been used maybe 5 times it'd have been 4 stars, but it's so many times it hurt to listen to certain chapters...
still a solid performance aside from that

Apollos Thorne has proven himself a master of the LitRPG storyline. Every installment of the Codename Freedom series has intricately built upon its previous volume. The characters have depth and many have grown into my my friends. I truly care about their future and anxiously await the next volume.

I am really enjoying this series. The action is great, character development interesting, Lit RPG elements not over bearing.

It’s mob not mobe lol, otherwise great!

I really didn’t know what to expect from this series but this has been far better than expected. Book 3 was great. I don’t agree with the nay sayers about “training” because it’s just part of it and fits perfectly. As for the love story part of it, the preteen / teen love affair is pretty lame. It’s probably that I just need to find heroes who are adults lol. But otherwise, great set of books here. I love the Cline character and hate that he’s backseated so much lol.

Really enjoyed the whole series. Will be waiting for more. The narration was great, no complaints. The story was just what I wanted but to continue the author will really need to Galaxy build the coming conflicts. I am going to need way more history, races and sentient creatures to fill up the huge amount space involved with going off world for what is coming up next. If the story continues.

The narrator is also excellent. Just one note: “mob” is pronounced the same way as in the phrase “mob mentality” or “mobster”, not “mobe”. Mobs mob the party.
