About this listen

Words That Heal: Affirmations and Meditations for Daily Living is the audiobook version of the classic work on affirmations that was originally published in 1990 and has been translated into eight languages. Since then, many people from around the world have continued to express how much Words That Heal has helped them, especially during times of loss and transition.

Words That Heal is actually two books in one. Part one of Words That Heal is a primer on affirmations. It describes what an affirmation is, how affirmations work, and teaches you a seven-step process on how to create a healing affirmation for yourself. Part two of Words That Heal is the inspirational section of the book. It contains 52 uplifting meditations, one for each week of the year, and a series of affirmations and a quotation that reinforces the theme of each meditation.

In addition, Words That Heal contains an appendix with a series of affirmations listed under seven distinct headings: self-esteem, love and relationships, creative self-expression, work/vocation, prosperity, health, and spiritual development.

A daily source of inspiration, Words That Heal can help you:

  • Respond to life’s challenges
  • Find the courage to move forward in spite of your fears
  • Let go of past sorrows and welcome change into your life
  • Feel at one with the universe
  • Allow higher wisdom to direct and guide your way

If you are experiencing anxiety, dealing with fear or hopelessness, having problems with health, going through a career crisis, suffering grief after the loss of a loved one, or simply looking for encouragement and inspiration, Words That Heal offers comfort, support, and understanding.

Wonderful & Worthy!

Soothing, helpful, practical, informational: it's with high praises I highly recommend this great-find of an audiobook. An excellent companion, especially while driving, there's welcome uplift here in this book, in which the caring author and narrator come fully through the pages. Words can and do heal: wonderful to hear about and know! A wonderful book, I'm glad I came across this author. A worthy investment; a wonderful audiobook. Thanks Mr. Bloch!
