Nate is now a private investigator in the wolf pack-run Silver Town, where he's settling in and doing a great job. He wants to give Kayla time to sort out her feelings. He knows she's under a lot of stress taking over more of the management of the lodge because both her brothers' mates are having twins.
Nate has had to take over more of the workload at the PI agency himself while his own sister is on maternity leave, so he does his best to be a shoulder for Kayla to lean on.
