Agent Cooper Dayton is almost relieved to get a phone call from his former boss at the Bureau of Special Investigations. A storm is brewing, though, and Cooper and Park must rush to solve the case before the weather turns. Or before any more guests-or the agents themselves-end up dead.

Fascinating story!

I love this so much! This book is my favorite in the series so far. Cooper is so damn funny. He and Oliver are both badasses. I love how much they love each other. 😍 This series is amazing, and Charlie Adhara is a genius!
I don't listen to ai or virtual voice, so I'm glad the audiobook narrator is a human. He did better reading each characters thoughts in different voices in this book. And in using different voices for different characters. It was so much more fun to listen to because of that.

This was my favorite book in the series! It was brilliant and I loved every word. The narrator was amazing.

World building continues

In book 4, Parker and Cooper’s relationship is more secure but Cooper is floundering with his sense of individuality and self confidence. He knows he loves Parker but is having difficulty believing they are a forever and happy couple.
Charlie Adhara writes a good mystery that further develops wolf nature and the reality of the human/wolf cultural landscape. I found Cooper’s incessant self doubt tiresome but the mystery combined with Parker’s solid character kept me listening.
I don’t care for Eric Bloomquist’s narration. He’s got a monotone style that makes Cooper’s constant internal conflict and outward avoidance of telling Parker how he truly feels more irritating than the dialogue itself.
Rated the narration 3 stars due to the monotone performance.
Rated story 4 stars due to excessive angst in Cooper’s internal back and forth.

That, always that. 💜

This latest installment of an amazing series did not disappoint. It’s a perfect mix and balance of sexy, thrilling, mysterious, action-packed, romantic and funny!

It’s as if Cooper transformed into the sassiest werewolf mate. I found myself laughing out loud at his snarky lines. 😂 He’d managed to make Oliver and me laugh. It balanced out his insecurities.
I love seeing Cooper and Oliver finally settled in their relationship. More comfortable even if still a bit careful. Cooper’s managed to work through his emotional constipation. 👏🏼

I absolutely cannot wait for the next book of this series.

One thing that bothered me though, specially with this audiobook is how the narrator pronounced Mutya, the Filipino doctor’s name. At first, I wasnt sure what her name was because I couldn’t understand what he was saying, how could name be “mute-yah”. Then I finally realized what he was saying (I had to ask a friend with the ebook copy since I only have the audio.) He managed to butcher it. Every time he said her name, it made me cringe and I had to keep repeating the scene because it thoroughly distracted me. Mutya is a very distinct Filipino name, I wish the narrator made some effort to figure out how to pronounce the name correctly specially if it’s from a different ethnicity.

Outstanding and Hilarious with an Ending Which Promises More

Sweet, appealing, funny & evolving. “Not every scar has a story…” “To be undercover, we tell the truth?” Park and Cooper are going deeper into their lives, careers and pasts in this new adventure. Going undercover is an absolute revelation for these two. They grow wonderfully in the whole series, and this setting is a fitting challenge. Through work and snark, they keep barreling into life. I won’t spoiler you, with the exception of a good line or two, and a reminder of how these books have worked.

I didn’t feel compelled to pick the plots & mysteries in this series apart, it was more than enjoyable to come along for the ride while they’re solved or resolved.


The series ends at book 5, and the offshoot series is about a character that got on my nerves, but Oliver Park and Cooper Dayton will continue to simmer in my imagination like Holmes & Watson. Though in this, to me, Coop and Park’s lives are always the main event.

I’m commenting on the whole series despite this being a single book review because all the books bleed into each other and are best experienced as a whole. Another way to say that is the endings felt abrupt in a way which felt like they said “to be continued” without being _entirely_ cliffhangers…

I come back to these 5 books to experience what I’ve forgotten or missed, from humor to horror and everything else in this complex and well-made world.

From the threat of haunting one’s beloved via candelabras as a sign of love, to literally struggling to be wholly comfortable in one’s own skin(s), exploring hard-wired dynamics or sweet kind kink, loving across other types of divides, these two don’t give up on each other or themselves while things get wild and weird, even for them.
If you’re reading the series for the first time, I envy you.

Charlie's done it again!

The relationship between Cooper and Park is what dreams are made of. The mystery was fun, like always and the car is characters and ethical dilemmas are interesting.

HOLY FREAKING CRAP. THIS BOOK! This series keeps getting better and better. I cannot get enough of it. This book is very sexy. Super amazing story. I need the next one asap. I loved the narration. This is just an awesome series and book.

I don’t care what anyone says…

…I love Oliver’s voice! On to book number 5 and hopefully not the last!

Romantic suspense at it's finest

I'm just such a big fan of this series and Wolf in Sheep's Clothing did not disappoint me in the least. In the beginning we see glimpses of Oliver and Cooper navigating living together, while house hunting. I loved how their relationship became more vulnerable & tender as they learned to trust one another.

Once they go under-cover at a couples retreat, Cooper is forced to talk about his true feelings and open up more, not only to Oliver but also to himself. And these guys are so sexy and romantic together. I love this couple and their developments as individuals and a couple.

Romantic suspense, intriguing mystery, unique paranormal universe, unpredictable twists and turns, banter and sexy times…highly recommended! I'm excited to read more! This series remains a favourite, for sure ❤ the ending is the best!

Unfortunately, the narrator is just to robotic for me. I ended up reading rather than listening.

And the Hits just keep coming...

I thoroughly love reading Adhara's works. This story leads us to a retreat in which Oliver and Cooper must go under cover at a couples' retreat to work on a mystery and at the same time "pretend" for real to work on their own hidden issues. What a great premise and I never actually seen this one coming. So the ending surprised me and then to end with a surprising twist knowing that I have to wait for the next part of the series....delicious torture! Bloomquist is getting better and better...Can't wait for the next one...
