This latest book is a fine addition to this series of books. We fans can only hope there are more of this series to be written. Also I will be looking for other books written by this imaginative author. Obviously his family and even his cat helped him to develop this story line. Great job and keep on dreaming. Margaret.

This series is awesome. Just when I think it can't get any better, the author shows me differently. Nicolo is perfect! His comments crack me up, especially with his 20th century sayings.

One of the best series I have ever read!

I cannot wait until the next book is released. this would also be an amazing idea for a movie. scifi technology meets fantasy magic.Pure genius!

Little slow reading

Not sure if it's the reader or the book but even with all the actions it feels slow somehow... But was a good book either way

A Little Too Much Angst.

Interesting story combining fantasy with sci-fi, but too much Hamlet going on (To be or not to be . . .). A little angst goes a long way, but the hero gets consumed with self-doubt that goes on too long, and even secondary figures have it. It's not as bad as the Crimson World series, which goes on increasingly, chapter after chapter and nook after book. Well this and the other books aren't quite that bad, but the author is pushing it. and it detracts from the flow of the story to take time out for uncalled for hand-wringing, especially from some battle hardened veteran who's supposed to be a man of few words and much action. the story and character development is good otherwise.

So...When is the 5th Book?
