This is a great book of wisdom for teens.

Not all teens battle depression and anxiety, however, many do. The pressure added as a result of the covid-19 lockdowns took teens away from their friends, school and everyday routine and made it very difficult to form new relationships. Being alone is the beginning of anxiety, followed by a lack of interactions with schoolmates, can lead to depression. The frustration of not knowing how to handle feelings of being "lost", and not wanting to talk to a parent about their feelings, further isolates the teen. Every teen has a different journey and is running on a parallel course with many other teens. This book is presented in such a way that a teen will probably accept the advice and suggestions as useful and not threatening. Every step forward is progress and can only be measured by how the teen feels.

Helps you understand your teens too

I recommended this book to my daughter, who is currently in Greece and struggling with severe anxiety and homesickness. She accessed it through Audible, and it’s been a great help. The book provides practical steps and coping mechanisms that have allowed her to manage her anxiety and start enjoying her time away. Its real-life examples and focus on resilience offer a comprehensive understanding of mental health. It’s been an invaluable resource for her, helping her feel more grounded and supported while she's so far from home. I highly recommend it for any teen dealing with similar challenges.
