Worth Reading The Entire Series ...

Would you listen to Wisdom again? Why?

Having read the entire series over five or six days, I was happy that Wisdom was worth the journey. I'll probably read this every year, and take some more time to understand Hockings' writing style.

What other book might you compare Wisdom to and why?

In an odd way, Wisdom and the entire series had overtures of the Twilight series in some parts of the plot and of course the main character love triangle.

What about Hannah Friedman’s performance did you like?

I think Friedman hit her stride in this book - this was the most convincing of her performances in the series. I found the characters better differentiated this time around.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I would not recommend reading this series of books out of order -- be prepared for the story to move slowly at times but to be thoroughly satisfying at the end.

What a romantic hook leaving me wanting a chance for Peter and Alice. Please more.

Good, but definitely made me feel old.

I loved this book 6 years ago, when I was a teenager. I do like the book and the story, but the romance is SO cheesy. Lol, literally so much sex(non descriptive) and it's like anytime things went wrong Alice was all over Jack. Sugar that is not realistic. But overall a great read. But, I'll always be #teampeter

I thought the first book was a little slow, but each book got better than the last and I thought it was fantastic! Don't listen to the haters. It's a fun story with a good ending.

I am not quite sure what I should say about this book. While I enjoyed it very much, moreso than some of the others, I am unsure of the direction that it headed in. Is this the last book in this series? If so why was it so opened ended? I loved the book, but was very disapointed because I am unsure if the Journey ends here for Alice and Jack?? What about Peter? Milo? Where is this all going??? I would love some answers......another book perhaps.

It started out strong and entertaining

The story line started out entertaining in the first two books, but slowly became boring and unappealing! I felt like it was going to get better, but just continued to get blah! There isn’t any romantic relationship between the characters and it was hard to follow what was going on because it didn’t have rising action, climax, falling action, problem and solution. I felt like I just had to complete the four books, NOPE not going to waste a credit on the last one.
It really has no vampire vibes, this was just mundane and yuck. Ugh

I enjoyed the Wisdom series. I would recommend them. They were entertaining throughout.

Hannah did a great job with all the Wisdom books.

Such a disappointment

What did you like best about Wisdom? What did you like least?

I liked the fact that Hocking finally tied up some loose ends in the story that felt incomplete. I am disappointed in the fact that she is not willing to let anyone go, they are vampires after all. And I am so sick of the "Jack" thing. More drama than necessary.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

I was happy she finally explained Leif, even though it was pretty obvious who he was, waiting on mom to join the family in the next book. Although I won't waste my time reading it. These books get more predictable as the series goes on.

How could the performance have been better?

The narrarator was pretty bad. It felt like I was sitting in a 5th grade classroom letting the kids read to me. She was so worried about her annunciation that she forgot to put any emotion into her reading...bad, bad, bad.

Could you see Wisdom being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I think I would have preferred to read the book rather than listen to it.

I absolutely would, this book is a great read and a wonderful ending to a series.
