Hmm idk

I hate to give anything by JVM less than a 5 star, but I just didn't get this story. Annihilation was confusing the first time i read it, but the 2nd time I loved it.

Foreboding psychological thriller (short story)

A woman inherits her father's house in a remote town and faces off with a creepy neighbor. The narrator was perfect in expressing the rising sense of being trapped in a home that used to be a refuge.

really enjoyed

The story is well written and had me ready to buy the book. The ending is great, leaving the reader with a lot of choices.

Gripping story

I’ve not read anything by Vandermeer that I didn’t love. This being no exception. I really enjoyed this story and loved the emotion portrayed by the narrator!

Mysterious!

This was good. Good narration as well. It's different than what I normally listen to, but it held my attention, kept me alert, wondering what was next. Good job. Thank you.

I was overjoyed by the audible narration and the plot of this story. I was kept in wonderment as to what the conclusion would I was amazed.

I know not to expect much when you get free audio! The narrator was good. The story was not very good. As with the other free audios,they start out good and end up wonder.ing what the heck is that!

This story was gripping, but I would love to understand the ending in more detail.
