About this listen

Two couples decide to sign up for a show called Trading Wives which is a ghetto version of the reality show Wife Swap. Instead of reaping a whopping $50,000 at the end of the show, this show will only shell out $10,000 after spending seven days the in the other wife's household. But before these two couples are able to claim their prize money, one wife isn't going to want to return home, so fist fights will erupt and there will be a lot of blood shed. In the end who will end up with whom?

Selling your soul for entertainment and money

I simply love the way that KiKi Swinson can put a story together. This book was a wonderful example of story telling and it captured my attention. Today's audience is so into the drama of things that happen on television, we never realize what happens during the taping of shows like Real Houswives, Basketball Wives and television shows like wife swap can have a major impact on the characters real lives. When we watch these shows we see what kind of people these are, you can only play a role for so long and after enough time goes by true character gets revealed. The grass isn't always greener or maybe it is with some folks. I always ask myself is the money worth me opening up my life to world. This book was a great of example of how money can ruin what you have to live for. In this book I found myself loving and hating the characters. My favorite thus far was was Trice and it's not just because I am a Trice myself but because the title of the book says it all "Wife Extraordinaire" and that is exactly what she is. The narrators did an excellent job bringing life and action to their words. This book actually helped open my mind to what would I do if I were in each of the characters shoes. I even asked my fiancee those "what if" questions to see if he would do the same thing that Troy did throughout the story. This is a great read and 2 thumbs up to Miss Kiki for this book right here.

Good

I knew to expect everything to not work out. There is no way that I could agree to that deal. I mean wow just a mess waiting to happen. This was purly entertaining.

Really KiKi,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Not without telling them that's it's most likely going to be a second part. The ending is awful, it's like everything happened, then the narrator said,,The End,,,,,Wow...Cliffhanger

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

It was enjoyable, maybe make it more realistic. I don't know, the hotel scene was all wacked out. Like Leon, did you really just do that, r u serious?

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I did enjoy the different narrations. I like to hear a story, rather than read it. I also like when the audio books have the different voices for each character.

So NOT what you expect BUT REALLY Good read!!!!!

Don’t judge a book by the title, lol. NOW this was so interested because my expectation and mind was thinking one thing, but the book was going in a different directions. I had so many questions. The experiment was crazy and questionable. And the other item was, where were the people from the reality show in this? Ok I won’t ask too many questions so I won’t have to add spoiler alert. The imagery was fun for me because, I’m from the area described in the book and not only that, the hotel, yeah yeah yeah, I stayed there before! It’s a very nice hotel. I would different say this is a good read. Held my interest from the beginning. Get it!

The drama made no sense

The ending was a waste of time and the person who started the drama wins in the end ???
