As a victim and mother of three daughters, this was insightful and indescribably helpful. These concepts could change our world.

Researched, Uncompromising, Courageous, Truthful,

I recommend reading this or listening to this amazing book to the all the heartbroken women I know and don’t know.

This book is about the entitled men who destroy the love of their wives and why these men would ever decide to spend their lives doing so.

Eye opening

This is a wonderful book offering great insight to abusive relationships. While it is mostly men abusing women, the author does explain that this can apply to any romantic relationship; that anyone of any gender, race or sexuality can be an abuser or a survivor of abuse. The author covers so many complex topics including: abusers as parents, law enforcement, how abusers think, seeking relationship counselling with abusers, and how to leave an abusive situation. One part that stuck out to me was the discussion about emotional abusers and how similar they are to physical abusers. I found myself a bit startled by their parallels.I would encourage any and everyone to listen to this. I have learned so much about what to look for in a relationship and how to safely navigate a toxic situation. I have also learned how to be a better partner. I wish I would have had this sooner.

Such an important book

This book should be required reading for all teachers, counselors, police, health care workers, anyone who could come into contact with abusers - which is everyone. We should all know how to recognize and be aware of how these dynamics play out. So many things I thought I knew about abuse were wrong. This book is fantastic.

Incredible book!

This book has changed my life and now I see abuse for what it really is. If I had one wish, it would be that all women have the opportunity to read this book, as it would certainly change the world for the better.
