About this listen

When Victor Holland came flying out of the night, he ran straight into the path of Catherine Weaver's car. Having uncovered a terrifying secret that leads all the way to Washington, Victor is running for his life - and from the men who will go to any lengths to silence him.

Though Victor's story sounds like the ravings of a mad-man, the haunted look in his eyes - and the bullet hole in his shoulder - tell Cathy a different story. As each hour brings pursuers ever closer, she has to wonder, is she giving her trust to a man in danger or trusting her life to a dangerous man?

Not my favorite

Not my favorite Tess. Didn't keep me glued like the most of them. Felt a little immature in their love relationship.

Not Gerritsen's Best Work

Would you try another book from Tess Gerritsen and/or Erin Yuen?

I generally love Gerritsen's work. This book felt dull and drawn out in comparison to her others.

What could Tess Gerritsen have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

This book just felt slow. It didn't draw me in the way her work typically does.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Erin Yuen?

Unknown.

Did Whistleblower inspire you to do anything?

To get a different book.

Any additional comments?

No.

Great story line from Tess

I absolutely adore Tess Gerritsen and her stories but this is the worst narration I have ever listened to had I not been so involved with the story I would have Never finished this audio

No the Tess Gerritson you know and love

If you love Gerritson for her strong, introspective female characters and well suspenseful plots, then skip this book. The lead character is whiny, all characters are poorly sketched out, the romantic aspect feels very forced, and the plot is riddled with holes. Gerritson is one of my favorite authors but this book is a HUGE disappointment.

Soooo trite. Sooo dumb

Predictable, trite, unoriginal. Good thing it was in my romance package or I would have had to return it.

Not her best

It was painful getting through this one. Skip it and move on to a better one.
