A great 2-parter

Mr. Snow!....omg I luv his voice 🥴😂
the female voice reminds me of Brooke Daniels a little.
This 2-part story is definitely worth the all day listen, I was a little upset with them at 1st, but everything turned out good 😁

Narration difficult to adjust to.

Nero grew on me but at first it was hard because in the other books they gave him a New York accent and they didn’t in his own books. His deep voice was fantastic for the spicy scenes but was a strange fit for the chatty guy from Gemma’s story.
The female narrator for this duet spoke WAY too fast. It gave off an anxious vibe- which definitely fit Blake’s personality but didn’t allow for enough range of emotions. I ended up having to slow the speed down for her parts.

Refreshing Storyline

Really good sequel. My only problem is how whiny Blake is. She is extremely indecisive and I got whiplash and a healthy dose of frustration listening to her. I get she was trying to figure out her feelings but the writer milked it to the point of frustration. I began skipping theough her inner monologues. They happened every other minute in every single one of her chapters. Character development was weak for Blake.

Loved the ending

Second book even better and so glad for everyone’s ending. To get everyone’s view and new friendships. And the growth between Nero and Blake just badas.

Amazing series!

Really well done! This is a new author to me and I just really enjoyed this series! The writing is outstanding, the characters are so multi-dimensional, the storylines are all intertwined and not a single one is missed when wrapping up. Every single detail is used in this book! Every piece of the story is meaningful in these books and it’s so cool to see. I love books like these. I’m looking forward to more by this author! The narrators are awesome too - Aiden Snow and Lucy Rivers are both excellent and always do a great job!

both books are great

book 1 is a little slower but sets the scene for #2. Man can grovel!! yummy! Aiden did amazing. didn't love the female voice as much.
Wish it was a trilogy!

LOOVVEEE AIDEN SNOWS Voice so much in Mafia books I gave this audiobook a shot .
I am So glad I did , I loved this story.

I dunno but for some reason I look for books with blonde heroines,

Maybe because I can relate to them better and I wish I was a natural Blonde.

I love How This Story Was Narrated .

In the audio format the Characters were talking to each other and NOT READING TO THE LISTENER OR TELLING YOU THEIR STORY.

I personally hate that kind of NARRATION.

You feel more connected to the story the way this was formatted. Like your in it. And not having it told to you.

This is a part 2 of a Hidden Identity type story.


This story was so instering it held your Interest, from begining to end .

There was a Point hopefully without me giving much away in the story where The MMC Aiden Snow( NERO ) was being pulled 3 different ways.

and Your like as a Listner Whats he gonna do now, whats gonna happen. Who can he trust.

All while coming to the realization hes falling for Blake.

And Blake has been hurt and led to believe shes just above Nothing because of her family.

Shes constantly questing her self Afraid to love and be let down again .

When Blake finds out Rowan Miller is Actually Nero De Luca she Struggles yet again feeling betrayed and lied too.

Nero Falls first ,

while Blake is struggling with her feelings, her morals, and judgement she feels she gets because of her family, that shaped her into a person who feels shes not good enough.

Honestly You Feel For Both Characters.

Nero Realized he loved her , and wanted to keep her safe while Blake was afrid of her feelings wanted to run, but couldn't because they were in a 3 way tug of war kind of thing.


How the Author brings it all together is truly a Masterpiece.

Loved this duet of a mafia story by Gabriella Sands. A five star read for me and audio listen. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved the first and the second book. Often in a duet the story drags on repetitively for too long. Absolutely NOT the case with this one!
Loved the first and second book equally as well. Nothing was repetitive. It was just a GREAT story!
It’s no secret that I’m a sucker for mafia romances and this duet was top tier!
The writing style was great and the character development was definitely there.
Plot was on point and kept my attention.
Both narrators were amazing in their roles.
The female narrator was absolutely perfection as Blake.
Aiden Snow, as always, is probably my favorite male narrator, hands down.
His deep voice is delicious. Listening to him is an absolute treat.
All in all a top 5 star read and audio listen for me. This was my first read by Gabriella Sands, but definitely won’t be my last!

Nero(I want one)

I enjoyed everything about this story. This story had twists, great narration, humor, and you can’t forget about the steamy love scenes. I was not ready for the story to end. I looking forward to listening to this author again.
