About this listen

Justin Pierce's brainchild, Khaki Kangaroo, is exactly the cartoon theme Andi Sherman needs for her world-class amusement park, Promised Land. In turn, Andi's park is the opportunity that can rocket Justin from obscurity to success. For both of them, spreading the Gospel through their creation is their passion--a shared dream that could cement a powerful partnership - if their shared past hadn't already driven them apart.

Now, with construction of the park in its final phase, what begins as an uneasy alliance between the successful businesswoman and the talented animator enters a baptism of fire. Disaster stalks Promised Land--and only by burying their pride can Justin and Andi save everything they've work for from destruction.

When Dreams Cross is part of the Second Chances series by award-winning suspense novelist Terri Blackstock. Combining fast-paced reading with realistic characters and situations, Second Chances takes readers to where the conflict between good and evil becomes the proving grounds of faith.

Not her best work

I usually love her books but this one didn't really get started good until the last couple of hours. At the end, it was her normal good caliber work.
I was surprised to find the main male character was called Jason instead of Justin by the narrator. I was wondering who the new character was until I realized it was an error.

just as the first one this one was very good the reading was superb. I love to read her books they keep you going to the end. they are also Christian oriented and I love that part.

Appreciated the story. but.....

I love this author and I appreciate her stories very much. However in this one, although I realize that she was trying to teach a lesson or advance an agenda, listening to two people fight bitterly the entire story and then suddenly they learn what they're doing wrong and now suddenly they're going to be wonderful to each other from here on out is just too unrealistic. As a counselor myself, that doesn't happen that quickly. The author goes to such extents to show how venomous they are to each other and then all of a sudden they're wonderful and sweet to each other, just not realistic.

Not her best work :(

I do love Terri Blackstone and I will continue to read her work. However, this one fell short. The voices of some of the men sounded as if they were the munchkins on the Wizard of Oz! I also found the continual prideful arguing between the 2 main characters exhausting! I do appreciate the actual mystery of the story and the Christian theme. So….let’s see what happens in the next book!

when dreams cross

It's a very good book. Just like everything that Terry Blackstock rights. I didn't quite understand the eminty the 2 characters have between each other. But I guess they're just both very strong willed. Great performance too.

Absolutely knife-edge story

I couldn't stop listening to this book, it was also a valuable lesson about having so much pride you cud cut your own nose off.!!! When I read the review on this book I would have bought it if it wasn't for the fact I love Terri Blackstocks book, so I bought it anyway, and would recommend it to any one. Was absolutely fantastic and God was still glorified in it!
Was really a good book!!!

Love this author!

For me, it was a slow start. After the first couple chapters, it was hard to stop listening.
Narrator Sandra Burr does an excellent job bringing the story to life.

Worst ever

I love Terri Blackstock's books! We have listened to and enjoyed many of them. But this one was tedious! The whimpering, whiny, back and forth teen-age type love story was just too aggravating! I couldn't listen to the end, though I really tried! Sad disappointment!
