About this listen
After the tragic loss of Mark, Maya and her son Lucas are presented with the gift of Mark’s second chance at life. But the Mark who comes back isn't the husband and father they once knew. As Lucas grapples with the ghost of his father and Maya yearns for the warmth of her family, their lives are thrown into disarray with the arrival of a small, abandoned child, Erica, a Returned with a peculiar brightness in her eyes.
In 'What We Have Lost', the veil between life and death is thin, and love, family, and resilience are tested against the backdrop of a horror that defies the natural order. A haunting narrative that explores the gray area between the living and the Returned, this novel will leave you questioning the lengths we are willing to go for those we hold dear.

So good.
I’ve read or listened to hundreds of zombie
Stories. I can’t believe how much I liked this one. It was definitely unlike anything I’ve read before. It would be great if this was a series and maybe more details about the company come out or focus on how another family. I rarely write a review but I just had to for this. Thank you so much. And I’ll look forward to purchasing more zombie! Cheers.!

what we have lost
A surprisingly good book. It has zombies, but in this story it's a twist on the zombie genre. A nice twist. The story revolves more around a family trying to deal with great loss, the breakdown of their lives, dealing with a loved one brought back from the dead.
