About this listen

Not all fairy tales end happily…

…especially when they turn out to be real.

If everyone seduced their way toward getting what they wanted, what kind of impact might that have on their family and the world around them?

In Antlers in the Mist, the premiere installment of Wendigo Woods, Jessica Young reveals the true story of her experience with an entity that is so bizarre, it's difficult to accept as reality.

Never heard of the wendigo? You may end up wishing you never did.

Wendigo Woods: Antlers in the Mist is book number one in the chilling and provocative series, co-written by Tom Lyons.

Interesting Story and Great Narration

This book was a welcome break from the content I’m used to and makes me really excited to read more cryptid themed literature. The narrator did a phenomenal job and I look forward to hearing the rest of the story as it unfolds!

The Wendigo

This story is a interesting beginning to a series. It’s interesting because, as was summarized, the gluttonous nature of the wendigo is characterized by the main character. It makes me wonder where exactly the story will head.

I can see this story as a small part, and set up, of a bigger story.

The audible version is the one I listened to. And the narration was good.

We will see what comes next.

Came for the Voice acting

While the book itself had plenty of issues and was written in a very strange way, the voice acting made it an enjoyable listen. I thought it was odd that they voiced the male dominant parts as well? But besides those, the voice actor had one of the most interesting voices and way of reading that I've read so far. Great listen, meh book.

I enjoyed this book.

Intriguing and unexpected events in this quaint short story. Seems to be the first of a possible series. Looking forward to the continuation. The female narrator was lovely and has a relaxing voice.

The narration is so intriguing!

This is certainly an odd tale, but the narration makes it intriguing and relatable. It makes me curious about a topic I wouldn't normally have pursued. I feel the emotion in her voice, she's got such a tender register.
I felt so at ease and comforted listening to it, Dobby's got range, really makes the listening experience unique and fun!

AWFUL Narrator

I cant even stand to listen to this, the narrator is so bad. She speaks in a high pitched baby voice that does not sound natural at all. Not to mention when she tries to do other male character voices, it is horrendous.
