Chelsea thought her life couldn't get any worse, but little did she know. You'll want to be there to cheer her on as her family becomes involved and her knight's identity is revealed. So well written and believable, with rich, deep characters you'll love and a few you'll despise.
I highly recommend this book for mature readers. A really great read you won't want to miss!

Chelsea didn’t deserve to be harassed. When a stranger steps in to rescue her, she ends up with so much more than anybody expected.

Lorhainne Eckhart has written another captivating Story. The Friessens are such a diverse family, and I love hearing their stories.

Lili Dubuque’s narration was well done. I was definitely entertained.

Great Read

Welcome to My Arms (The Friessens #17) was a great read by Lorhainne Eckhart. Everyone believes Chelsea Friessen is a spoiled princess who is more trouble than she's worth. But they would be wrong since its all due to a tale spun by her scorned high school crush. Unfortunately two years later that is still the impression everyone has and he is still spinning his tale. She meets a man who's personality is arrogant even though he is drop dead gorgeous. He walked into her life to save her from humiliation, kissed her and pretended to be her fiancé. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

Omg I think this was by far a fantastic Friessen story I just fell in love with Chelsea and Rick but all the drama they had to go threw just was epic and sad but I loved it a must read

So romantic, such an alpha male hero.

If you love a good strong, alpha male hero with a good HEA you should love Welcome to My Arms, the latest audiobook from Lorhainne Eckhart, performed by Lili Dubuque.

Chelsea Friessen is being harassed by an ex-boyfriend. When he tries to humiliate her a knight in shining armor steps up and saves the day by taking her in his arms and kissing the stuffing out of her and then immediately addressing her as his fiancé. This is just the beginning of the alpha male tendencies shown by Alaric (Ric) Taft.

It's a whirlwind romance that Chelsea's parents aren't happy about but as they learn more about what happened with the ex-boyfriend and how Ric helped Chelsea they almost begin to soften. Chelsea sees in Ric the same things she sees in her father; she just never thought she'd ever find anyone like him to love her.

There's really quite a lot going on in the story. Ric's father has ties to the mafia which does anything but endear him to Chelsea's parents. Chelsea is also keeping a secret from everyone about what really happened between her and her ex-boyfriend. When that secret finally comes out her father goes ballistic.

Reader's who don't care for insta-love type stories may not like this one but I know real-life couples who fell in love in less than a week and remained married until one of them passed away so this kind of story doesn't bother me at all.

This is the second book I've listened to performed by Lili Dubuque and I really loved listening to her voice. Her smooth, lilting tones were very soothing and calming and helped make the time I had to spend doing chores must less tedious.

All of the books in The Friessens series are great romantic stories and Welcome to My Arms is no exception. I look forward to reading more books in this series.

Another great book another cast of great characters I loved listening to Chelsea story I felt bad for poor Rick but this was a great story loved it

GOOD SERIES!

I am enjoying this series! This series is full of drama, family bonds and romance! The narration was good. It kept me entertained! The author did a good job with the character builds and plot! I look forward to reading the next book in this series! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I'm so glad I got to know Chelsea and Ric and their story can't wait to read the next book
