It expands on characters and the story introduced in the previous books, and while it can be enjoyed as a standalone it’s highly recommended you read the others first. Virtual Voice is a downfall

Mispronounced words, unusual pause. Really prefer a narrator that can express feeling. Could have been better.

I am a huge fan of enemies to lovers and this one was written very well. the virtual voice is a little jarring with the emotions that were expressed in this one being so mini tone. it is the best one so far fpr me in the series.
