Story
Steven wants to stay out of the way of all alphas. To him, they’re nothing but trouble and see omegas as nothing but pieces of meat. So as a computer engineer, he keeps his mind focused on his job and immediate family. Until everything goes haywire, and he’s mixed in a battle of surrounding pheromones and testosterone, a botched booking, and an alpha claiming to be his mate? He’s already had a bad experience with one alpha, and he’s not going to make the same mistake twice. But Drake Gryther isn’t going to let Steven go easily...or at all.

Matthew Bruner is a bear shifter destined for greatness. Or so that's what he's always been told. As the next in line to become alpha of his clan, Matthew's days of singlehood are drawing to a close. Long since committed to a prearranged mating, Matthew finds himself feeling trapped and, worse, afraid. In a desperate attempt to prolong his freedom, Matthew flees his family's ancestral home and heads to the nearest city. It's there that he meets Ezra Tier, a tiger shifter with a bad streak the size of a mountain.

Publisher's summary
Samson: Ever since my brother and pack leader, Trevor, found a mate, he won’t stop bugging me. Now he threatens to take my most favorite thing...goat meat.
I didn’t need an Omega. I was fine the way I was. I just went for the meet-and-greet party to soothe my brother’s demands.
Now I was faced with another problem. I found my mate. But he only wanted the baby. Not me.
If only he can hang on a little longer. I’ll show him he’s worthy of being loved. By me. And he’d get the whole package. Or, well, packages. *Wink*
Samson Reluson is almost the mirror of his brother, Trevor. But now he has other leaps and bounds when he meets his mate, who’s on a mission of his own.
Arden Wine needs a baby for his pack’s sake. But he’s not ready for the extra alpha who comes with it.
Watching the Alpha’s Omega is audiobook three of the Alpha Omega Lodge series! There’s steamy times and an adorable baby, plus knotting and of course, M/PREG! There is no cheating, no cliff-hangers, and definitely a HEA that will have you screaming for more!

Story
Obituary writer Nadine Barbault doesn’t mind being called “Lady Death”. It suits the ice queen persona she’s cultivated to survive the fast-paced Toronto Herald. So when Nadine learns that famous (and reclusive) author Dot Voline has died, she doesn’t hesitate to run the obituary…only to discover that Dot is very much alive. Nadine’s screw-up has brought Wesley Chen of the rival Spear no end of joy—she’s been a thorn in his extremely ambitious side for years. But the renewed interest in Dot also surfaced chatter about a mysterious past scandal.

Decent storyline
The storyline had the potential to be a good book. However, I did not enjoy the author's writing style most of the time. There were parts that were decent, but others just seemed juvenile. But, like I said, the plot of the story was pretty good.
I did not enjoy the narration at all. The secondary omegas sounded like women, not much different than the Omega MC's little sister in fact. There were too many starts and stops; the narrator did not seem to know how to pace himself. There was character differentiation, but I could not connect to any of the characters' voices except for the omega's family.
Very disappointing.
