Just finished the 4th book in this series. All 4 books were amazing!! I love the way families come together in celebration & tragedy. You can feel the love as you read these books!!

Small town enemies to lovers....sort of.

This is book 3 of the Sweetbriar Ridge Series. I had not listened to the first 2 and this was easy to follow and completely enjoyable as a stand-alone book. However, I loved it so much, I picked up the first 2 and can’t wait to listen to them.

This is Chloe and Tanner’s story. Chloe is the younger sibling of a family full of overachievers. She’s found her place as the town’s only kindergarten teacher and an overachiever herself by winning teacher of the year for the last 2 years. She enjoys her simple life, loves her small town and is reluctant to change. Her town is growing and so is her school and the need for more teachers. Enter Tanner, the hunky, cocky former pro alpine skier and now the new kindergarten teacher. He comes from a very competitive environment where he was used to doing things on his own. Chloe is reserved and soft spoken unless it involves Tanner. They clash at every turn in the beginning while trying to deny their attraction to each other.

I loved their story. Both Chloe and Tanner are both a bit misunderstood early on and you are really rooting for them by the end. Chloe blossoms and Tanner is the boyfriend we all wish we had. They really balanced each other out and their journey was so entertaining to get to their HEA. I loved the family dynamic of the Donovan’s and can’t wait to see more from this family and town.

CJ Bloom was stellar as always with her narration. She never disappoints and always brings something special to the stories. I highly recommend it and can’t wait for the next one.
