About this listen

Veganism and bodybuilding are not two words often paired together, but it can be done. One of the most common questions vegans are asked is "Where do you get your protein?", a necessary part of any bodybuilders diet. Vegan Bodybuilding and Nutrition was written to answer questions as such. Here is what you can expect from this book:

  • A concise discussion about the vegan diet, including the health benefits and the concerns
  • Tips on how to become a better vegan bodybuilder and overall athlete
  • The knowledge needed to equip you for a long-term commitment to a vegan diet without compromising your bodybuilding goals
  • Fifteen vegan recipes that you can use to help you with your muscle building and fat burning goals.

There is no better way to kick-start your transformative journey than to embrace the vegan revolution and rely on it to power your athletic and bodybuilding goals. Whether you are new or old to veganism or bodybuilding, this book will help you find your way to reaching your goals.

Useless. Utterly useless

The entire book was a long monologue into a handful of outstandingly basic recipes and no worthwhile information. It's a better idea to just flush your money.

Good information; lackluster performance.

The material presented was quite informative and helpful to anyone looking to become vegan and maintain a highly active lifestyle. The narrator's constant mispronunciations however, were a major distraction to the point where I couldn't focus on the positives. Examples include "KIN-owa" instead of "kin-WA" and "Cummin" instead of "Koo-min." As these are staple items in a vegan diet, it's surprising greater care was not taken to ensure proper pronunciation.

Just use Google.

This book is not informative but instead, suggestive. If you have absolutely no idea what macronutrients are and are not savvy with search engines, then this book has some usable content. Otherwise, it's repetitive in it's vague offerings of protein sources and it's constant reassuring messages of how science has proven that eating a plant based diet is good for you. Yes, that is why we are reading(listening). Just a lot of mention of legumes. A lot. Perhaps the writer, being a struggling legume farmer by day, found a new means of advertising. ok, that wasn't necessary.
Listen to it or don't, but the information here is a very conservative collection of well known and rudimentary pieces of data. No real offerings of help. In fact, at one point in the book, the author finally mentions an alternative meat replacement known as Tempeh. Which i am sure many vegetarians are familiar with. However, the book then reads, "look it up." That actually upset me. If you were to shop Home Depot and ask the associate in Lighting if this particular bulb can be used with a dimmer /potentiometer, and he says, "Look it up.", what sort of impression would that leave?
I sometimes rant as a means if venting.
That said, it's better than my book, which has neither been written nor published.

Thank you.

Too Vague and General

This book presents nothing that I couldn’t find on my own via google or youtube. I was looking for more specific or descriptive information, such as, how much protein is calculated for body building on a vegan diet per body weight.

Informative!

It's not that long to listen and very informative. I will try some of the recipes.
