The pronunciation is incorrect

Carotid, syncope and other words I can’t recall at the moment were pronounced incorrectly and it makes me question the accuracy of the information in the text, since the author is also the voice actor. I even looked up the pronunciation of those two words to make sure I wasn’t the one pronouncing them incorrectly. This may be the most helpful guide in the world but if I’m only 16 minutes in and have always heard multiple pronunciation mistakes, I can’t trust this info enough to give it my time. Mr. Mitchell doesn’t have an MD after his name and although that doesn’t necessarily mean he doesn’t know his stuff, I don’t trust a lay person who doesn’t know his subject well enough to have heard people pronouncing the words correctly or to have taken the time to look them up. He pauses before unfamiliar words the way a child who is learning to read does and I just want to scream, “Look it up! This is your job!”
