Very helpful for pessimists & depressed people like me
I’m a cynical pessimist. I grew up with worried thoughts and anxiety constantly. So did Derek Prince. Thank God for this book. It’s short, sweet and to the point. Any longer and it would’ve been repetitive. It’s perfect for me. I have hope now. Jesus is my way out of this darkness. I always knew that, but I didn’t know how to apply it. Derek teaches you in a simple, easy-to-understand manner. God bless this man. I easily relate to him and despite the fact that he was from such an old generation being born in 1915!, he’s very modern and depression isn’t something people talked about back in my parents’ time (the peace and love 1960s-70s generation). My grandparents may they RIP were from Derek’s generation. Psychology wasn’t understood back then, nobody spoke of depression. It’s so common now in this current era to speak about mental health. Derek was so ahead of his time. May he be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank You my God, for discovering Derek’s teachings and wisdom. God bless you whoever is reading this. Amen!
