Haller is a Lincoln Lawyer, a criminal defense pro who operates out of the backseat of his Lincoln Town Car, to defend clients at the bottom of the legal food chain. It's no wonder that he is despised by cops, prosecutors, and even some of his own clients. But an investigator is murdered for getting too close to the truth and Haller quickly discovers that his search for innocence has taken him face to face with a kind of evil as pure as a flame.

Disjointed in the extreme
I like the comedic touches, but this was one wacky story. It was all over the lot. There was no cohesiveness to it whatsoever, and I forgot that this is what the author usually puts together when I bought this I hadn’t read her in years because it was just so off the beam, but there were a couple of laughs in there, she’s got to work every character into the story even though that they don’t add anything to it so it was OK

Kay Scarpetta back to basics
Patricia Cornwell is getting back to what made earlier Kay Scarpetta books a top read for me. There was a period where the personal stories had priority over the cases but they are getting back to what makes these a good read for me.

Another Win for PC!
Love Pat Cornwell and her characters! Unnatural Death is no exception. The narration could have been better- it was fairly status quo. Sounded a tad flat but did the job telling the story.
