Disjointed in the extreme

I like the comedic touches, but this was one wacky story. It was all over the lot. There was no cohesiveness to it whatsoever, and I forgot that this is what the author usually puts together when I bought this I hadn’t read her in years because it was just so off the beam, but there were a couple of laughs in there, she’s got to work every character into the story even though that they don’t add anything to it so it was OK

Unrealistic and sophomoric

This book was definitely not up to her standards. At times it was difficult to continue.

Bigfoot might be real

Narrator, but with so many characters, and plot lines, she had quite a high hill to climb. .

Kay Scarpetta back to basics

Patricia Cornwell is getting back to what made earlier Kay Scarpetta books a top read for me. There was a period where the personal stories had priority over the cases but they are getting back to what makes these a good read for me.

Another Win for PC!

Love Pat Cornwell and her characters! Unnatural Death is no exception. The narration could have been better- it was fairly status quo. Sounded a tad flat but did the job telling the story.

Lots of action

I found some passages redundant and quite boring. Benton is not a very sexy husband
