A Great Resource For Parents Of Teens With Autism

I have several family members who have been diagnosed with high-functioning autism, and this book has served as an amazing guide to help me with them when interacting with them. The strategies in this guide are super helpful and effective. I wish I had this book years ago to help. I like the fact that it is a workbook and is easy to use. Unfortunately, most parents don’t know what to do when their kids or even teens are diagnosed with this, and this book is a beacon of hope for them. I highly recommend this book.

An absolute must read

As a grandmother for a 13 year old step grandson that just came into my life recently, I found myself struggling to communicate and interact with him. I didn’t have the skill set or the patience to be the grandma that I am to all my other grandchildren
I took this as a challenge, and have been educated myself on how to be there for his needs with understanding, empathy, and the right thing to say.
This book has so many tips and skills to help.
I have so many friends who have children, grandchildren, friends, and relatives that are on the spectrum. It is so wonderful that she is bringing this out to the light.
These children are precious and they add a wonderful dimension to our lives. Thank you for writing this.

Top techniques that Work with love!

Wow, I was impressed that all my concerns were addressed. My sister can use this information to help my autistic nephews. I appreciate that both genders were addressed with hormone tips! This book took a candid look at sexual matters and offered assistance dealing with a delicate subject. I especially appreciate reviewing how to discuss personal space and nonverbal communication with any age. This book is so practical that the advice here can benefit any teenager. Thank you for compiling everything together in this one book.

Parent's guide for high functioning teens

This audiobook is a great resource for parents of high functioning teens or tweens. It offers a lot of advice and strategies to help embrace your child's abilities and help with socialization as they transition into being adults. I liked the concept review of SPACE (supportive parenting for anxious childhood emotions) therapy, which was new for me. I feel like it adds to the bucket of tools I have under my belt.
