Dawn Staley wrote a beautiful story about her journey. It’s not salacious, it really is about her remarkable basketball journey. It’s quite amazing looking back at her dedication to the sport when there was not a lot of attention on women in sports. Uncommon favor is a perfect name and a really enjoyable, inspiring read.

Would not have been the same from any other narrator! Wonderful to know her story. Thought I had all the respect for her before but even more so now. Making an absolute icon into such a real person was perfect!

I appreciate the lessons that Dawn brings forth. I appreciate Dawn standing on her faith!

Some things make sense now.

I love how open and honest she is about situations fans only know about from a distance. It makes sense how an outcome went one way or another. I also liked hearing her coaching philosophy and how it came about. I could totally pinpoint some of those lessons as I watch her team play.
