Short but a great read

It was a short read, but entertaining.
I need a part 2, to this book.

What’s with all the hate?

Personally I liked this book. I don’t really understand all the negative reviews. It was a good story, easy to read, and I liked the characters. The narrator was good as well. Yes there are some LGBTQ elements to the story but I actually liked that it’s not a man and women relationship it’s something different.

all over the place

didn't even mean to download, but listened to it anyway. story jumped all over the place. and didn't jump at points that made sense. I often couldn't understand who was talking. it also didn't make sense. with every meal a weird question, but then they all act like it's been asked before, but you still answer like you didn't know it was coming? very confused by this story. snarky answers for no reason? everyone gets a long, then they dont? this story isn't provided in a presentable way for a listener.

A quick listen. Great for a rainy day at the beach! Left me wondering what would happen right up until the end.

I don't care for infidelity in stories. That said, it is an unusual and thought-provoking.

Easy and enjoyable

Unexpected storyline and great balance of characters. This was an excellent short escape. Will listen again.

My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️½

My thoughts: It was okay. I had the ebook with audio and it wasn't great because the narration was a bit faster than the highlighting on speed 2. Once I adjusted to ignoring the highlights the story was just okay. It's listed as a Mystery Thriller, it is not. It's more [Omitted for Spoiler] Suspense. I was a bit disappointed with the ending. The last Sally Hepworth book I read was The Family Next Door and the I'm the type of person characteristic was recycled in this story.

Recommend to others?: Maybe. It's a quick read with interesting insights but nothing to write home about.

Uncharted

I like to sneak in short stories when I can. I did not know what to expect going in, and it did not disappoint. I suppose I need to look into the rest of the series now.
