The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

In this searing classic autobiography, originally published in 1965, Malcolm X, the Muslim leader, firebrand, and Black empowerment activist, tells the extraordinary story of his life and the growth of the Human Rights movement. His fascinating perspective on the lies and limitations of the American dream and the inherent racism in a society that denies its non-White citizens the opportunity to dream, gives extraordinary insight into the most urgent issues of our own time.

There are better resources
It was worth a single credit if you just buzz through it at 1.3x speed. I wouldn’t put too much stock into this resource. Some sections had good information but the majority of chapters didn’t teach me anything new. Not only did I feel like I didn’t learn much, but also it felt like the reviewed material was sometimes at a very base level. At times it felt geared towards a 1st year student and at times felt like it was geared towards me, a 3rd year.
Just a little inconsistent but still an OK review for boards.

Like the pH of someone with a mild PE
A little basic, but still works.
As an audiobook for quick review, it is useful. Wouldn't recommend sitting down to read this through (use Sketchy + UWORLD). The actual exam is much more in depth then what this book would prepare you for.

Meant for middle school leve proficiency in medicine and doctoring. It is an insult for any medical student preparing any exam of any level in their career. Thank you for wasting my free Audible credits !

An intro to medicine
This book would be valuable for someone trying to get a bird’s eye view of all of medicine. It is not detailed or nearly complete enough to qualify for a USMLE step 2 review. Very surface level, would not recommend.
