About this listen
This is not a traditional biography with a chronological enumeration of dates and places and events, because my husband’s life was not a traditional existence.
Interwoven with details of his life - and our life together - you will find lessons he taught and ideas he was most fervent about. His every thought and action was part of a larger whole - a profound knowledge of the universe that Philip Berg, who later became known as the Rav, acquired and then imparted.
As his wife, I look back on this story of our lives together, and I’m reminded of salient moments that defined his character and destiny. I include here events that are representative of his passion and purpose - events that also shaped my own journey, our tumultuous marriage, and the creation of the worldwide network known as the Kabbalah Center.

No, I am not a wedding crasher, I just happen to be married to a rabbi. Rethink Love is for anyone who is in love, wants love, or wishes to rekindle love.

Story
It’s been said that the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing us that he doesn't exist. Using the literary device of an “as told by” autobiography, the Kabbalah Centre reveals the concept of the Adversary, which plays a major role in kabbalistic teachings. Satan resides within each of us, manifesting as a recurrent little voice of uncertainty. The tests that he puts before us are a means to help us grow.

Story
No one is without fear. The way we experience fear is the difference between leading a life of purpose and joy or a life of disappointment and stagnation. We do not need to learn to live with fear or find ways to cope with it, but, instead, to live fearlessly and to our highest aspirations. We have the ability to eliminate fear from our reality. Thought provoking and inspiring for women and men alike, Fear Is Not an Option is both a story of personal triumph and a hand book for transformation.

Story
The familiar reality is the physical one-percent material realm in which we live, yet there is another dimension the world beyond our five senses. According to Kabbalah, this is called the 99-percent realm. Everything we truly desire: love, joy, peace of mind, freedom, inspiration, and answers are available when we connect to the 99-percent reality. The problem is that most of us have inadvertently disconnected ourselves from this dimension. Imagine if we could access this source at will, and on a continuing basis. This is the power of Kabbalah.

Story
Becoming Like God offers a Kabbalistic approach for becoming all powerful. Written with extraordinary clarity, Michael Berg presents a logical method to achieving our supreme birthright. In revealing this opportunity for humanity, he highlights ways to develop our natural God-like attributes, and diminish the aspect of our nature (our ego) that interferes with our destiny. In his succinct style, Michael provides the answer to the eternal question of why we are here: to become like God.

His words perfectly captured what she has come to believe about the human condition: That we are intimately connected, and that we are blind to this truth. Levy wondered what had elicited such spiritual wisdom from a man of science? Thus began a three-year search into the mystery of Einstein’s letter, and into the mystery of the human soul.

Story
The Chopra brothers were among the most eager and ambitious of the new generation. In the 1970s, they each emigrated to the United States to make a new life. Both faced tough obstacles: while Deepak encountered resistance from Western-trained doctors over what he called the mind-body connection, Sanjiv struggled to reconcile the beliefs of his birthplace with those of his new home. Eventually, each brother became convinced that America was the right place to build a life, and the Chopras went on to great achievements.

Ariel Burger first met Elie Wiesel at age 15. They studied together and taught together. Witness chronicles the intimate conversations between these two men over decades as Burger sought counsel on matters of intellect, spirituality, and faith while navigating his own personal journey from boyhood to manhood, from student and assistant to rabbi and, in time, teacher. In this profoundly hopeful, thought-provoking, and inspiring audiobook, Burger takes us into Elie Wiesel's classroom, where the art of listening and storytelling conspire to keep memory alive.

Story
In Betty Reid Soskin’s 96 years of living, she has been a witness to a grand sweep of American history. When she was born in 1921, the lynching of African-Americans was a national epidemic, blackface minstrel shows were the most popular American form of entertainment, white women had only just won the right to vote, and most African-Americans in the Deep South could not vote at all. From her great-grandmother, who had been enslaved until her mid-20s, Betty heard stories of slavery and the times of terror and struggle for Black folk that followed.

It begins with a glimpse or a passing thought. It ends in obsession. One day a renowned author discovers that his wife, a war correspondent, has disappeared leaving no trace. Though time brings more success and new love, he remains mystified - and increasingly fascinated - by her absence. Was she kidnapped, blackmailed, or simply bored with their marriage? The unrest she causes is as strong as the attraction she exerts.

Story
"In this life, I have lost. I lost my husband and best friend. My children lost their father. But Stephen didn't lose his life. He found it." Early one morning, just down the street from the local mosque, gunshots shattered the silence. A young American lay in a pool of blood, murdered by al-Qaeda extremists. When God called Emily and Stephen Foreman to bring the gospel to a Muslim nation where Christianity was illegal, they knew they were being called to a life of sacrifice. "We died before we came here" was their common refrain.

Story
In a shallow light-speed world, how can we really know and be known by another person? How do we make true friends? The Digital Age is all about change, but the need for true friendship never changes. We are designed for real engagement with others - for affirmation that goes beyond a simple "like" on social media, for connection over meals, for hope and excitement about the future. Above all, we need to be known and accepted for who we are.
