Bit messy

I really loved the Eddie Flynn series, but this book was a mixed bag for me. The story on the whole was interesting, and while I enjoyed the twists the whole thing felt ‘off’. As if the writer didn’t think the plot through. The characters made odd choices and seemed to be rather inconsistent in their personalities. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great either. Even the writing was so-so

Overworked?

I love Steve Cavangh’s books, read them all. I enjoyed Flynn’s series. This book is just a bit overworked, overtwisted? Not sure what is the right word. It was ok, but I just found it not so good as the previous I read and listened.
