EXCELLENT!!

What did you love best about Turning Upsets into Positive Energy?

Listening to Turning Upsets Into Positive Energy was truly enlightening. For over 20 years I have self enquired and read books of Philosophy, Pyschology, Metaphysics and Esoterics, but the wisdom in this book contains the most profound philosophical and spiritual findings I have personally come across, and yet John Mace presents his pioneering research with such a profound simplicity that I just felt and knew, "well of course!"

Who was your favorite character and why?

Understanding the difference between our true being and our identities and how play and create in our lives.

Have you listened to any of Andrew Mulcare’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I really enjoyed listening to andrew read this book. Lovely voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Knowing that all the negative feelings and thoughts we have, are only accidentally created by us through overwhelms and upsets. They are not who we really are. Just over time we identify with the thoughts and feelings and believe them to be a part of us, thus act them out. In understanding how they are created, and what we really are, I could see how Johns MEM method, with the guide of a Practitioner, can assist a person discreate them, with a simple series of silent spiritual exercises. I loved that there is no need for any self disclosure with this method.

Any additional comments?

It is definitely a paradigm shift in the field of emotional health. And one that is most sorely needed.

Disappointing

If you want to learn about turning upsets into positive energy, or even about the Mace method, don't read this book. The author basically says that we all have multiple identities/roles that we take on, based on good and bad life experiences (a valid observation), and that his method allows you to immediately rid yourself of the negative identities that are holding you back or making you unhappy. He spends the entire book telling you how great his method is, but he never actually gets around to explaining what his method is or how it is done!

Snooze

Would you try another book from John Mace and/or Andrew Mulcare?

No thanks.

Would you ever listen to anything by John Mace again?

Probably not.

What about Andrew Mulcare’s performance did you like?

Spoke well.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

The subject matter is interesting to me, but this particularly audiobook did not capture my interest. 3 hours in I have yet to find any method to use to turn upsets into positive energy. Pretty boring.
