"My destiny has never been pre-determined by my skin color, more than anything else, it is being shaped by the choices I make daily, good and bad". This audiobook follows author Melissa Tate’s early life growing up in Africa and eventual migration to the United States. Tate contends that, in America, it is a person’s good choices, not their skin color, that determines the upward trajectory of his or her life. After migrating to the United States at age 19 for college, her experience in America has been a living contradiction to the false “White privilege” narrative.

Heading into 2020, the stakes in his reelection are even higher. This election, nine months after this book releases, is a new fight for the soul of America. Stephen E. In a bracingly honest reflection on both his own past work for the Republican Party and the contortions of his former peers in the GOP establishment, Miller draws a straight line between the actions of the 2000s GOP to the Republican political class's Trumpian takeover, including the horrors of January 6th.

Story
Speakers often use the words vision, boldness, and influence to describe the characteristics of effective leaders. In The Most Excellent Way to Lead, Perry Noble makes the case that the heart of great leadership lies elsewhere. Perry, despite being voted least likely to succeed in high school, beat the odds against him. Today, he inspires 3,500 people every weekend to live for something greater than themselves. He credits this achievement to the leadership principles he has learned from the Bible.

They work together, eat meals together, campaign together, and make decisions together. Yet in the fall of 2010 - as two brand-new members of the US House of Representatives - they did not even know each other. Their story as politicians and friends began the moment they met and is a model for others seeking true reconciliation.

Story
After being released from prison and winning South Africa’s first free election, Nelson Mandela presided over a country still deeply divided by 50 years of apartheid. His plan was ambitious if not far-fetched: use the national rugby team, the Springboks—long an embodiment of white-supremacist rule—to embody and engage a new South Africa as they prepared to host the 1995 World Cup.

Loved it! Simply couldn't put it down.
The parallels with the Bible stories were intriguing. Compared most favorably to other Trump books I have read.

How do you digest this with a speed talker shoving information down your throat.
Narrator is extremely fast talking. Its hard to digest as words are stuffed into the brain.
