A Thought-Provoking Journey of Self-Discovery

This book is a captivating story about David’s journey to the other side of the world, which is only half of the story. His internal journey to find enlightenment and spiritual growth led me to reflect on my own internal path.

David’s rich descriptive imagery transported me into his shoes, into his experiences, and into his struggles. Not only did he describe the landscapes and people (with accents!) with great detail, he also provided a thought-by-thought internal dialogue detailing his journey for enlightenment.

I felt like I got to know David through his story telling and would highly recommend this book (and his other writings) to anyone looking for a new perspective.

An Adventure of a Book

I really enjoy David Smart’s books. This one took me on an adventure to a place I will probably never see in my life. It felt like I was right there with him. I enjoyed the story, insights, and the voice of the author as the narrator.

Must Read!

Smart’s account of his time and experience in Nepal are thrilling to listen to and experience in the author’s first person account.

His articulate and detailed account of the country, his learnings and challenges engulfed me throughout the book. Hope there’s more to come from this up and coming storyteller!

Never been to Nepal but for some reason I feel like I’ve lived there. Ate there. Hiked there.
