This was a really fun read and I loved being on an adventure with Kit and Raven—their relationship was sweet and their differences were fun.

Third-act breakup.



Overall: I hope to read more by this author after this experience.

Narrator was super, the story was not what I thought. Fun trail , surprising love. Overall just okay

Not to damaged for Love

Raven wants to show herself and her family that she is more than just a cancer survivor. Kit does not want to settle down for fear of it being ripped away from her lime it was before. These two women consider themselves damaged when they meet up on the trail. Kit needs Raven's knowledge and Raven needs Kit's free spirit for adventure. They journey isn't easy and mistakes are made. I loved taking this journey with them, the trail magic is contagious. The story is well written and you can just picture yourself on the trail with them. Nym Kingsley did a nice job narrating this book.

Wonderful story of love and accomplishment

Cara Malone books are always a joy to read or listen to. This one is no different. When the audiobook first started, I was unsure whether I was going to like the narration due to the soft and methodical tone, but as the story progressed I realized that any other narrator would likely get the tone wrong. Nym Kingsley does a perfect job of expressing the heaviness of the feelings of the characters as they trek along the Appalachian Trail. The story is sweet and filled with lots of emotions. The main characters both grow together as they explore the trail and work through the hardships they have gone through. This is a fantastic listen and one that I highly recommend.

Hidden Strengths

This is a beautifully written tale of two women out to conquer their demons hiking the Appalachian Trail. Each of the women have a different reason for their journey, and they find themselves and each other along the way. Well worth the listen.

Great Story about recovery, finding love and accepting love all while enduring the challenge of a 6 month journey on the Appalachian Trail.

nice story. is about a girl with girl romance which I wasn't comfortable with kids hearing when they were in car. story was an easy listen that's easy to follow.
