You never know whose the bad one

Kept you guessing, very real characters. Loved the K9’s interaction with those he cares about. It had some real life issues being discussed from both sides which was different. Very good book with great narration.

I like having dogs with action in the story along with a great romance. It was a great story.

I liked how the characters were developed in this book. Very good listening. I recommend this book to any one who like K 9 adventure books.

Enjoyable read

I enjoyed this one and the characters. Deck is a DEA agent and Thor is his K-9 partner. They are working on a case that is quickly becoming very deadly. OD's are growing and one hospital seems to be ground zero. Dr. Tori Sampson works at that hospital and while she has hang ups with and about the DEA, she wants to help the opioid crisis and ends up being pulled in by Deck. Deck pulls her in to help in a couple of ways and it does make a big difference. The more that they work together and start tracking things down, things get dangerous and there are multiple attempts at killing Deck and Tori is in the crossfire. I enjoyed watching these two have to overcome their differences and how they view things in order to work together for both the case and as things become personal. They are both drawn to each other and as they get to know the deeper side of things, they continue to get closer and build a deeper relationship. This story had some twists and turns throughout with the mystery of who is behind Grey Death and how everything is connected. I was engaged with both Tori, Deck, and Thor as well as Deck's best friends, the other 2 K-9 handlers. I am excited for the next one in the series.
The narrator did a good job with the story and the characters and bringing it to life. She did a good job with the emotions and action.

I really enjoyed the story line and the twists and turns of who really was the bad guy. my favorite stories are ones with canines and Thor and the others are awesome

I really didn’t find anything in this book I disliked. I especially like the canine dogs.

I thought this story was very well written, and I liked how the author created the characters just for the story. I love reading about canine dogs in ops and this story really got my attention and also hit my heart a little.

Prefer dual narration

Great story Action filled with a nice amount of suspense. Dual narration would be very helpful.

Good story, but maybe better read

I have several Tee O’Fallon audibles, several with Vanessa Daniels. I can get through the book ok, but her obvious lack of acting skills makes for awkward and disjointed speech patterns. Still, the voice is at least pleasant enough, and I’m a sucker for the various K-9 series.

Awesome!!! Loved it!!!

Awesome character dynamic. It was more than hot sex. I fell in love with the characters and could truly relate as if it was real. It was nice to see the whole family dynamic play a role which is also truly impactful on relationships. I loved the outcome especially the 4 values placed on a good working relationship. Can’t wait to read more from Tee O’Fallon
