Needs better narration

The actual reading was fine, but putting voices to the characters was awful. Why put such a high pitched nasal tone to a male characters? What was a mediocre story was kicked down a couple of notches by the narration.

I enjoyed it

The story definitely took quite a few unexpected turns. The worst I can say is that it involves a few horror cliches, most notably the central position of a tarot card reader as a driving force in the plot. I'm kind of over this particular device. On the other hand, many of the other characters are extremely out of the ordinary, and the plot & ending are far from being cliche. Downright strange and certainly unpredictable.

Dialouge is painful

I'm halfway through, I rarely leave a book half finished. but I'm considering it. The dialogue is just painful. A child with the love of $2 words.

Don't bother

This book isn't worth your time, even though it's free. I stuck with it because it was short & I wanted to see improvement in the story/ characters.

Narrator

Narrator was plain awful. No wonder it’s free. Couldn’t finish this book. Character voices were worse.
