Merry

Katherine Kitty is the merryist Mary Sue and that is what makes her glorious! She spends the book surrounded and being hit on by hot Alien Men and killing ugly Aliens and solving problems that have stymied the Sexy Aliens for 20+ years over a couple days.

Not for the uptight, straitlaced, nincompoops but if you're not that it's pretty enjoyable.

Male voices

I love this book and read it many years ago. I was pleasantly surprised to find it on audible. The lady who voiced this story did a good job with the female characters, however a male doing the males voices would have elevated the story to new levels.

Amusing and original

The narrator's reading was good, but her range of voices was very limited. As with many books, the listening experience would have been enhanced by adding a maler narrator in addition to the female.

I love this book!

I have loved Gini Koch and her books for years. I already own the series in paperback and ebook. I am so glad that they are finally being produced on audio so I can fit rereading them into my day! Justine Eyre does an amazing job of bringing these characters to life. The writing is tight, funny, and filled with fabulous references to multiple nerd verses for all sci-fi and fantasy fans to appreciate. The characters are the best version of unbelievable extremes. I can’t wait for the rest of the series to come out on audio, too!

Must Buy!

This is still my favorite book of the series! I have read it numerous times and STILL I had to listen to it all the way through ignoring all my usual items. SO much better than the other audio version! I loved that this narrator nails Kitty's sassiness! Can't wait for the next one!

Monsters, puns, and a love story.

I truly enjoy this book and have read it repeatedly, now its finally on audiobook, hurrah. Part love story, action adventure, comic book, and all about a girl. Is it going to win everyones adoration, no, but it would makes for a hot time in old Pueblo Caliente.

Fun, action and romance with aliens. Enjoyable and amusing. Five stars for creativity and fantasy.

So glad it is finally on audible!

This is my absolute favorite series, and I’m so glad that at least the first book is finally in audio format. I have read the entire series through at least three times. It is my go to comfort read when I want to escape the real world and feel like no matter how terrible things are, one woman can get stuff done! Kitty find the love of her life in the form of a sexy alien, but more than that she finds herself. She finds strength and powers she didn’t know she had and she finds a way to look at the world in a whole new way. She is completely badass. Do not underestimate her. I love hell unapologetic Gini Koch is about loving comic books and comic book tropes complete with all their ridiculousness and silliness. In my opinion, this series is exactly what the world needs right now.

Great story, fun adventure.

Loved this book. Very well written, with lots of adventure and plenty of laughs. The narrator was spot on with the characters. Highly recommend. Can t wait for the next book.
