With too many missions to complete and not enough information, Sinclair and team discover that the Chinese plan is nearly complete. As one nuclear glide vehicle misses Washington, DC but hits Loudoun County, Virginia, Sinclair’s mission in the Sahara is to stop the Chinese from using its ground based laser targeting system before they can more accurately launch the remaining four. Facing insurmountable odds and without support from his government, Sinclair takes his team into the maw of the Saharan death pit, the Eye of Africa.

Sci far more than fiction

Book had some really solid foundations about hypersonic warfare and how quickly things can go sideways and how greed can overcome people. However the fact of the French assassin only using his sword bordered on ridiculousness

Tata seems to be showing us what is really going on behind the scenes in govt.

The narrator was weak! Story , okay. I usually enjoy AJTata’s books, but this one not so much!

A very unique story, very well written!

I really enjoy the Sinclair character, though the reflections of the past get a bit redundant. That being said, this is a very unique plot with tons of jumps and twists. It started around a 4 for me and ended up knocking on a 9 over half way through. Well done.

General Sinclair and Dagger team rock this intense adrenaline ride from start to finish! Extremely well written and love to see it put into a movie!

I'm usually the type of person who never gives 5 stars for anything..ever. This book actually made me tear up because of all the personal lose the general endeavored. This series is something that I truly wish would continue on.
