Publisher's summary

From a #1 New York Times bestselling author, the 6:20 Man returns, this time sent to the Pacific Northwest to aid the in a complicated FBI case—and he’s about to come face-to-face with his nemesis, the girl on the train.

Travis Devine has become a pro at accomplishing any mission he's given. But this time it’s not his skills that send him to Seattle to aid the FBI in escorting orphaned, twelve-year-old Betsy Odom to a meeting with her uncle, who’s under federal investigation. Instead, he’s hoping to lay low and keep off the radar of an enemy–the girl on the train.

But as Devine gets to know Betsy, questions begin to arise around the death of her parents. Devine digs for answers, and what he finds points to a conspiracy bigger than he could’ve ever imagined.

It might finally be time for Devine and the girl on the train to come face-to-face. Devine is going to find out the difference between his friends and his enemies–and in some cases, they might well be both.

The book's timeliness and relevance stood out most.

This is a thoughtful, well-written, very believable story set in present day America. It is entertaining and exciting and has a satisfying conclusion.

Great Narration

Good action story. The excellent narration really added to the story. I really liked a main character with strong integrity.

Okay- just didn’t hit the mark

Front end was a bit of a challenge. The story developed and fell flat in several parts.

Excellent

In my opinion, this is the best book David Baldacci has ever written, and I have read them all. For me, it is one of my all-time top five favorite books.

Storyline was fantastic

I truly enjoyed listening to this book, especially the different voices for the different characters! Betsy was fantastic! I do hope there are more 6:20 books to come. I just love David Baldacci!

Suspenseful!

I waited for months for this book to be released. It did not disappoint! Third in the Travis Divine novels, it is hard to say which was best. Love Baldacci’s writing! The various narrators were perfectly cast and read it expertly.

Loved it. Travis is a good guy willing to bend for the tight cause. Lots of twists, and you wonder if Devine will prevail.

It was just really good, like Baldacci always is. Can’t wait for Travis Devine’s next adventure.

Scary twist

I liked the twist but also scary because of the relevance in our world today. Disturbing as it is a good story and who doesn't like justice and a happy ending.

SO good.

Across the board Story, performance, and *some* ripped from the headlines parallels with which he always infuses his books. The some refers to the fact that, like in his other (great) books, the parallels are NOT nauseating or boring or too newsy or pointed. Among his very best books and audiobooks. 5 stars across the board!
