Classic adventure

I really enjoyed Tidebreakers Call. What stood out to me was how immersive the world felt. Its a good mix of classic adventure and fantasy. The narration brought it all to life beautifully.

The mix of sea battles, ancient secrets, and friendship made it a perfect listen for family time, sparking our imaginations and leaving us eager for the next installment.

A fun enthralling good time

I always enjoy adventure and fantasy stories, especially those out at sea. We follow the main character, Finn, who goes on the hero’s journey - from his small, humble beginning as he progresses through Starweavers Academy to become the captain of a legendary mythical ship who has to battle warships and the brutal sea. It’s a fun read with lots of action and an exciting world for young readers.

good narration

Decent detail but the best part of this book is the amazin narration as they didnt cheapen out on narrator. Most people have one narrator and sometime that narrator have to play many voice which is a turn off especially when they use a male to do a female voice, sound a litlte gross. This book use multiple voice for all the character which keep it very interesting and fun to listen to.

unforgettable fantasy series love it

The idea of a sentient ship choosing its captain is a brilliant twist that sets this book apart Perfect for readers 12+ and fantasy lovers who crave adventure with heart and depth.

Really interesting sea story

If you like stories about ships and being out at sea, this is the perfect book for you. It is engaging from the start and has plenty of surprise twists that I did not see coming.

exciting ocean adventure with magic and heart

This audiobook pulled me in from the very start. The story is full of action, mystery, and magic. I really liked the main character and how he grows through each challenge. The world-building is fun and easy to imagine, especially the idea of a living ship choosing its captain. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters to life and keeping the pace exciting. If you enjoy sea adventures with a bit of magic and teamwork, this is a great listen. I can’t wait for the next one.

A story that feels comfortably familiar

While I was listening to the sea adventures of Finn, Garric, Evalyn, and the rest of the crew, I felt like I was in a Pirates of the Caribbean movie, with light touches of One Piece (the cartoon), especially in the sarcastic and often over-the-top pirate jokes and humor. But that’s exactly what we all love about pirates, especially the younger ones.

The story itself is great, with Finn trying to untangle his past, figure out what the runes on the ship mean, and ultimately face the deadly challenges of the academy. The narration is also excellent, the narrator’s tone is truly piratesque and really helps draw you into the plot.

Now I’ve got the perfect idea for a book to gift this holiday season.

Great First Book

What an excellent first book in Tidebreakers Call. The adventures of Finn are fast paced, well developed and something that kids will eat up. This is a great storyline about struggle, friendship and problem solving skills. The narration was well paced and fitting for this kind of story. Looking forward to the next book.
