GOOD READ!

I enjoyed it! The narration was great and kept me entertained! The author did a good job with the character builds and plot. This was not my first book by this author, I previously read His Second Chance and enjoyed that as well. I look forward to reading more of her books. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Romantic and suspenseful mystery

Amberlyn and Jean-Paul are lovers and best friends. When she finds out he works as an undercover spy, they part ways. He ends up inadvertently putting her life in danger and rethinks their relationship.

This was a good story. It jumped from the past tot he present but i followed it well and was eager to hear how it all unravels. The romance and mystery were well built up and the characters well developed. There was a good mix of romance, mustery and suspense. The story had a good pace and was pleasantly entertaining.

Holly did a fantastic job narrating. I thoroughly enjoy her energy and intonation. She made the story even more enjoyable for me.

I highly recommend this lovely romantic mystery that is performed impeccably.

This is a suspense, mystery romance. Two people that fell apart years earlier get back together. BUT someone wants them apart. Flashbacks to earlier events are intertwined with current drama. Will they be allowed to love each other? Throw in a surprise and, who knows. If you like mild mushy romance, this ones for you.



The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by Holly Holt.

Some unrealistic parts in the story

I enjoyed the story but some aspects seemed unrealistic. It was a fast listen and very enjoyable, but if it were real life, I don't think either of them would have lived to the end of the story. I'm glad they did in the book, though, as it was an enjoyable listen.

Romance and fast paced

The only reason I'm giving this a 4 in the story and overall is just because this was VERY fast paced. Other than that it was a great short read. Tammy Lynn throws alot of twists and turns in this story so you have to pay attention but its great for the plot. Holly Holt does a splendid job of bringing this to life and it was fun hearing her version of irish!

Good Mystery & Romance

A love before and now together again, it will be tested. Who wants them apart, a past, or his job. Good mystery and romance. The audio gave depth to this story and was good. Given ARC audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! good overall

Whiny

The story it self is not so bad but the characters are whiny and boring.
If a MI5 spy was like this in real life he would be dead or fired long time ago.
The author makes you feel like the characters are weak and helpless and you wonder how they got threw life so far.
I always try to finish books but almost gave up on this one and was kind of glad it was over. I hate giving bad review but sorry I just have to do it now.
