Great recommendation from the Avila Institute

Over this past year, I’ve been trying to read more of the Carmelites Saints. I had not heard of, nor read anything about Saint Elizabeth of the Trinity. The title and brief description of the contents of the book were intriguing enough to give it a try.
Claire Dwyer’s reading was easy listening. I love that she is a busy wife and mother, who was continuously weaving Carmelite spirituality in an out of her own non-cloistered life!
I am a busy grandmother of nine, six of whom are local, and there are several elements of Carmolite spirituality, that I find uplifting and wonderful to read about, yet difficult to separate from the life of the cloister and apply to a life that some days lacks any semblance of structure.

Helped my vocation

I wanted to learn more about St. Elizabeth of the Trinity and found your book. I am a stay at home DAD during the day and clean my children’s Catholic school after hours. I must say that this all hit home for me and was exactly what I needed spiritually. Your book has brought me back to loving my vocation as a stay at home daddy, and also into a greater appreciation of God within us and in all that we do..even if it’s changing blowout diapers, feeding the poor, clothing the naked…babies.
