About this listen

Dismantled centuries ago, the sword of Goliath is still rumored to thirst for its enemies' blood. Cole "Tox" Russell only wants to begin his life with Haven Cortes, but he must first complete a final mission: retrieve that sword and destroy the deadly Arrow & Flame Order.

The AFO, however, is determined to claim the sword. Wielding their father's life over Tzivia and Ram Khalon, they threaten to expose Ram's long-held and dangerous secret while demanding Tzivia locate the sword.

With the Wraith team slowly being torn apart, things only worsen when Mercy Maddox, a new operative, emerges with the stunning news that the sword is tied to both Ram's secret and a string of unsolved serial murders.

Tox, Ram, and the others are forced to set aside fear and anger to focus only on the enemy. No matter the cost, Wraith must stop or take the enemy down with them.

Great story

The entire series is great! I enjoyed this book, as I did the others, and would highly recommend it to others. However, I do have to warn you that you we need a box of tissues

All three books in this series kept me fully engaged! I came to love each character and didn’t want the series to end. Looking forward to discovering more from this author!

Best of the three

In this genre, I found this to be one of the best books. The reader was familiarised with the characters in Book 1 and 2, and the storyline reached a pleasant climax in the last book. Narrater was excellent, as usual.

Good series

I listened to the three books in this series. It was great to have really interesting books with no profanity. Personally, i found the romance part was rather distracting. It did not add to the books, but that is probably just me. I am not fond of romance books. Other than that, the series is a great read.

What thriller

There were several times when I had to stop and just listen for fear that I’d miss one of the twists or turns and then be have to go back and listen again (in the middle of a battle!). As always Ms. Kendig takes a part of the Bible and builds a contemporary problem that has its roots in historical facts and some fiction!
Most important, Ms. Kendig reminds us that when we completely trust in God, He will fight our battles!’

Gripping Story

This is the conclusion to the Tox Files series and this was my favorite. Be sure to read this series in order, or you'll be lost. The characters you've fallen in love with are back, and you'll be on the edge of your seat as Haven, Tox, Tzivia, and Ram face danger after danger. Plus a new character, Mercy, is introduced, and she definitely adds flair to the story. The action will keep you turning pages at a rapid pace to find out what happens. The ending was more emotional that I expected, after the long journey through the series. Thirst of Steel is an epic story with an intense ending that will thrill suspense and thriller fans everywhere.

The narrator for the series is great. His voice adds authority, drama, and tension to the action-packed scenes.
