Acerca de esta escucha
Jerry Anderson was an astronaut faced with an impossible choice: die of asphyxiation in a few hours or see if the alien pod he was transporting really was an escape pod and find out if it could actually save him.
When he enters it, he finds that the controls are unreadable, lacking anything to go on, and rapidly running out of air. He presses the blinking green button.
The next thing he knows, he isn’t human anymore, and he finds himself on a seashore, next to some birds feasting on a body that looks very similar to his new body.
He is alive, but staying alive will be a challenge, and he will be able to communicate with the locals, assuming the next ones he finds dont kill him on sight.

On Mars, Jason had stumbled across the escape pod to a 3,500-year-old derelict spacecraft. The AI for the ship then informed Jason that due to him having some traces of alien DNA, he was now the Captain of a massive alien Starship. That 'should' have been good news. Except that most of the Mars and Earth government agencies had different ideas about the alien ship. And the ships AI, having been derelict for centuries... It now has some issues... But the real problem was that Jason's DNA had an additional trait that shouldn't be there... The last time anyone had one of the forbidden DNA ...

This is the humorous misadventures of Steve White, who was taking a stroll and looking out over a small pond to see if any of the turtles were out. When suddenly, he finds himself over 400 light-years away. Surrounded by strange aliens and desperately trying to find a way out of this impossible situation. He "fakes it” and accepts the role of the Earth Ambassador to the Pathless, the somewhat insectoid partial humanoid 4-sexed race he now finds himself with. His goal is to return to the Earth. Their goal is much harder to understand. They want him to be the trade ambassador. But what do ...

Benjamin, Mark, and Chloe were all set to graduate college in a few weeks. Ben had ordered a strange object from eBay to use as cover art for a book he was writing. It looked really cool, like a slightly charred old military artifact from 70 years ago. It was possibly part of an engine. After cleaning it up (it was found in a cow field), he placed the strange device on his dorm room desk directly over the wireless charging port. That woke it up. Unknown to him, the disabled starship hiding on the moon could now communicate with the missing part. The ship needed two things: 1) The missing ...

Historia
Jake’s commute home takes an unexpected detour, leaving him stranded on a completely different planet. He soon finds himself in a high-tech hospital in a world populated by strange alien races. However, the new world is not your standard Isekai story. These are not the cliché cute monster girls or the generic characters that look like they were borrowed from a video game. In this world, he is the primitive, has no magic or cheat abilities, and has no clue what will happen. Jake tries to learn to live in the new world but discovers that not everything is what it seems.

The war between different alien groups lasted for over 2,300 years. But Keith Robinson didn't know anything about that. He assumed that the job he had applied for was to work on an Arctic research ship. He thought that he would be assembling parts for upgraded sonar buoys. He thought wrong. The AI on the derelict spaceship was open to lying if that could finally get the ship repaired. Hiring a repair technician from the primitive planet Earth was a crazy plan. And even crazier, it worked. After salvaging an alien ship, Keith now finds himself the ship's owner. But something is deadly wrong ...

One with an AI that needed a crew so it could pass itself off as a non-AI ship. Having survived their first adventure in space, they now had a new, larger, and much faster ship. Returning to Earth should have been the easy part. They also had a wedding to plan. Unfortunately, nothing goes as planned. They are sent to a new destination in space to meet with a new alien species, with whom the other aliens' first contact didn't go very smoothly. Along the way, they ...

They rescue two new beings, but things go awry as their planet doesn't even want them back. Then they discover some more refugees, only some are not what they claim to be, and they land in the middle of another war, all while planning a wedding between Meera and Dylan. The modern gods are gone; they have been removed from power by the old gods. The old gods are back: Greek, Egyptian, Norse, Roman, Hindu, Aztec, Celtic, Japanese, Chinese, Babylonian, and many others. The first thing they do is kill off over 1 billion people who have been judged as Evil. They also eliminate the weapons of all of the militaries, all nuclear power fuel, and waste. Gordon Anderson was a clerk at a 7-11, and he was (as usual) late for work. That is suddenly the least of his problems. The world is changing; everything is in turmoil. However, the most disturbing fact may be that ...

The Earth Space Force Military has a huge problem. The massive alien Ogre that they had earlier fought was only an immature little one. The full-grown ones had found some derelict starships and were about to find one with an FTL drive. Keith and his crew were tasked to sneak in and destroy the derelict that contained an FTL drive before the Ogres could find it. To do that, the Meduala sent them a living weapon to assist with the battle. One that the Meduala has spent thousands of years trying to deal with. Is the new weapon more of a problem than the Ogres? The Ghost Ships that contacted ...

After leaving the medical chamber, Keith thought the long war was over. He had united two warring factions and identified the culprit behind the earlier devastating war. A xenophobic race that was out to destroy all the other races. The problem was that they didn't like that he had uncovered their deception, and they were out for revenge. Then the Earth sent their “secret weapon” out to him. Something that could possibly beat the Meduala at their own game. Unfortunately, her daughter insisted on coming out too. Much of his earlier success was based on help from the AI on his patched-up ...

Outstanding fresh ideas, wish books were longer
The computer narration is easily tolerated. I've been going through several of the available titles from this author and have found some truly new ideas and plots play out.
I do wish they were longer books especially if in a series or a never ending series (which I don't like). I figure $1/hour is worth my credit, so unless over 12 hours, I'm skipping it. The length is the only spot (besides narration options) where the books by this author fall short. A meat narrator could probably enhance performance, but I'm ok with how it is or even a step up, synthesize male and female voices or use a few different voices for the different characters i the story the same way meat narrators do. That would require a lot of markup but between enunciation/diction hints along with pause management, but it would be time well spent. If this were a meat narrator, I wouldn't be leaving this review as I would have skipped it for not being long enough, so the narration is perfect for me.
Otherwise, I'd like these to be twice as long, the author certainly seems to have the imagination to complete such a feat!

Entertaining
I see a lot of negative reviews which I am confused by. The work is very entertaining and enjoyable. Not sure why the audiobook is free. Pony up for a human narrator and watch the cash roll in. I don’t believe it’s supposed to be a historical work of art remembered for thousands of years and taught in middle schools. But. I come here to turn the brain off and enjoy the work. Can’t wait for the sequel. I would say bravo author. Bravo

I don't like Virtual Voice
The Virtual Voice is great technology, but it doesn't compare to an actual reader. All of the characters are voiced the same and exclamatory statements, humor and sarcasm are sometimes lost. Consequently, the nuances of the characters are lost or don't fully develop. Since the narration didn't draw me in, I fear the story suffered.
I much prefer a practiced reader.

AI Narration Needs MUCH Improvement!
The story might have been enjoyable, but the AI narration killed it for me. It was like chewing cardboard and trying to convince yourself it's a ribeye steak. No voice variations (pitch/pace) or inflections to convey importance, emotions or meaning.
AI narration still has a long, LONG way to go before it can adequately emulate a real voice actor...
