good lord I'm glad I listened in the afternoon...

I love a good horror story. I know it's great if I have to watch a cartoon or something to shake the unease that lingers afterward. this was short, but still impactful. I'm going to watch some cartoons now...

Eerie and unsettling

The narrotor did an amazing job bringing this story to life. Dark and atmospheric this story evokes that childhood fear of the unknown, that sense of dread that sonething is under the bed. Listen with the lights on if you don't want to be too creeped out.

Delightfully creepy.

I'm not a reviewer, but I love Suzanne's work and would SUPER love to see more, so here goes.

This story, Well, I don't want to give anything away, but it has a high creep factor in addition to a terrifying weather event. The rising sense of dread keeps pace with the rising physical danger, and then the ending! Satisfyingly shivery! Definitely listen to the author's notes for an added layer of "brrrrrr."

This is the first thing I've heard narrated by Samantha Scathe, and I very much enjoyed their voice and reading style.
